Berkeley Springs is an historic town with spas, bed and breakfasts, and charming shops. The center of the town includes the historic natural warm spring that was used by native Americans and later by George Washington. There is even a outdoor bathtub made of stones that George Washington use to bath in. There is great hiking trails and nearby is Coolfont, a resort centered around outdoor activities.

There are also a host of antique stores in Berkeley Springs.

In the winter, Berkeley Springs hosts the Winter Festival of the Waters. More than 100 sparkling, bottled and municipal waters compete in the largest and longest running water tasting in the world. Open to the public. Other specials all weekend. Last full weekend in February.
